Ok, if you have not ever heard about it, lett me tell it to you..
Gapyak is a traditional sandals in Indonesia, especially in Java island. Gapyak is made of wood. The best Gapyak is the Gapyak that made of best wood. Long time ago people in Java like using Gapyak better than modern slippers. They made Gapyak by themselves, so they do not need to cost some money to buy sandal.
Why people give them name Gapyak??? Because when they use it to walk, it will create sound pyak, pyak, pyak.. Some people also product many Gapyaks and they sell them in the traditional market. So for them whom do not have time to make Gapyak or because they can not make it by themselves, they can buy it.
